The Hulk in Universal Studios.
Spiderman ride at Universal Studios.

The Hulk is Immense! and the Dr Doom Ride was awesome.
I think the best ride in this country is Stealth at Thorpe Park. A tad too short though.

First I rode "Air", which was truly amazing as it actually feels like you're flying, Superman stylee http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KQD9bw3c41w
Then "Rita", surely the most uninspiring of coaster names but sweet Jiminy Jeebus it's fast - 0-60 in 2 seconds - completely badass and terrifying. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=07no_0BGjuc
Went on plenty other stuff, but honourable mention goes to the white water rapids ride, for soaking the missus and giving me a jolly good giggle. Good times were had by all.
Anyone got any fave thrill rides?
I was considering posting a similar thread when I went a few weeks back.
I'm going again next week.
Air is amazing! We're going to sit in the front this time. And Rita (which is a shit name, and part of the reason it'll be denied famous ride status I think) gave me a headache. Awesome!
Did you go on 'Enterprize'? That ferris wheel thing where you just sit in a cage with no seatbelt and it's G that keeps you in place? That's a ricketty old bugger.
And I like how they've modernised what will always, to me, be known as the pirate ship by adding some metal bits and calling it 'Blade' despite the main body of the ride still blatantly looking like a pirate ship.
I once sat wrong on a ride at Alton Towers and nearly got snapped in two due to the enormous force bearing down on me. And the lad I was with thought it hilarious that I could have broken my back!
I like Oblivion and Corkscrew the most. Shame the latter one has gone now.

How can you "sit wrong" on a ride? What were you doing, a handstand on Oblivion?
went to alton towers when the corkscrew first opened.
was so quiet we stayed on it for 3 times without getting off!!
I used to love Black Hole, the rollercoaster in the dark!

I could tell you, but then you'll all be doing it and I'll be responsible for a spate of spinal injuries.
