Carry on!

Carry On Erection!? I must have missed that one.

And idiotic political inertia by people who half read a tabloid and gawp at rolling news between soaps and Big Brother will do them well.

Just because you watch BB or soaps doesn't mean you're brain dead, and certainly doesn't mean you'll vote BNP.

Yeh you'd be way to busy since BB coverage is 24 hours a day.

YEAH!

If you watch Celebrity love island though.... :P

You misread me completely. I said when you do that in combination with not reading newspapers or following the news.

I'm thinking of too many people I know who's general response is

"It's all shit why bother voting,"

That said Bigbrother is shit.

They have a point.

In my experience, people who say that sort of thing have never voted and probably never will. They do like to complain about stuff though, which is tough shit as they didn't vote.

In your opinion, maybe. :P

I have to confess I did not vote but the reason was all of the candidates in my area were utter rubbish and there wasn't a best of the lot. Usually I do and most of the time, I vote Green but it depends who is up.

I vote Green

Giant?

Love the corn.

No they don't. There is always some one to vote for, hell vote for independent if you have to. But not voting is voluntiarly handing your none vote to dubious established parties or dodgy outsider parties like the BNP.

Hitler only ever got a relatively small share of the vote, it's just there were no other strong parties to oppose him.

All our current parties were formed by angry, passionate rebels at some point in their past. If you don't like the choice join a party and try and change it, or form your own one.

Everything else is a case of shitting where you stand and complaining you live in a sewer.

I voted Green this time out of protest. First time in 18 years I haven't voted Labour.

Agreed.

I vote Green

I vote Cabbage-Looking.

Nil, join my party!

There are 5 kinds of pop!

What flavour jelly and ice cream?

They should. Frankly I'd ban all none news programs 6 months either side of an election and ALL newspapers and magazines would have to carry at least 40% news/political content.

I suppose satirical shows would be ok.

I'd also charge people £250 for the privelege of not voting. Oh and I'd made election day a national holiday but you can only go down the pub or mosque if you voted.
