Apparently I'm supposed to introduce myself so I suppose I had better do that before savagely commenting on other people's threads and generally failing to realize that my "try to find fault in things because that's the best way for them to get better" approach to writing work doesn't necessarily get you the most friends.
I have just finished studying philosophy and the university of York where I was on the comittee of the comedy society but now they are gone and I need new communities to talk about comedy and writing to.
I'm interested in writing sitcoms and sketches and particularly love the medium of radio, I would spout off a load of pro radio cliche's at this point but I prefer to think that the superiority of radio to TV is so supreme that anyone not enlightened enough to realize this without argument would clearly be too intellectually ungifted to understand the arguments anyway.
Despite the fact that I might appear arrogant and blunt I like to think of myself as a friendly person who projects an aura of arrogance as a defence for the timid shaking child that lies beneath, so please be nice to me, i'm a good person really : - ). (I put spaces in so it comes out as proper smiley not one of those newfangled graphical ones)
