Is that kinda what you were going for Bex? Smarmy

Yeah. :D

Or maybe someone will start a 'who's the least funny' competition and it'll all get nasty. Can we just say everyone is special and funny in their own lovely way? :)

But whos the most lovely and Special?

Woeful answers one and all, you've missed out all the BSG big beasts.

Griff the intellect of Stephen Fry with the fury of Stephen Write.

Bussell the dark master of lunacy and serious writing.(and his familiar Stott).

Lee Henman "the professional" more films now please!

Nigel Kelly master of the Bruce Lee 1 inch punch mini skit.

Timbo, he's just thorough.

But there are loads of others; Jane P mistress of erudition, Pedros, Scotti Dog, Craig H the new whipper snappers.

And of course the dark master of ultimate irony Aaron.

And the pun-ishing pun-damentalist pun-k rocker Mark P.

Now come on you miserable lot and big up the rest of BCG.

Susan Boyle special?

Oh and loved Dolly's mock 80s TV shows.
Every one's funny except those who aren't. You know who you are.

Leevil makes me laugh... I will never ever forget Leevil's online conversation with Jake How. Which brings me to Jake How... the funniest "person" to have been on this site.

I think JaneP hits the mark.

Have to agree, I think all the female posters on this site are much funnier then the blokes. It's less of a one-upmanship, ego tripping, wee-wee contest to them and their humour is much more self depreciative and honest. (Plus they have bewbees!)

Having said that, the standard of comedy generally on this board is quite high, with everyone throwing in a classic quip or twelve. Even the moderators on this forum are quite funny, which I assume is rare amongst the computer geeky Inter-Nerd set.

Like Jane P said previously, I've met some really lovely people from this board, so it wouldn't be fair single people out.

I love you all. <3 <3 <3 Hug Hug Sick

I believe he was talking in the present, not past Gav. Sorry... you get minus points for trying to get points undeserved.

Nil point to Wales.

Have read some work on critique after joining this site. Who do you think is the funniest person posting material on here?

Hi Jacob, I guess it comes down to personal opinion, as everyone has different tastes.
There are many, many people on here that have written sketches I've enjoyed.
A fair few have been mentioned already so I'll just add a few others.
James Harris, Chris Forshaw, Otterfox, Badge, Random, The Cool Mikado, Darren Pomroy, Bushbaby & Ben.

No contest - it's Seefacts.

I have no idea if this is true or not, but I just wanted to say it before he did.

:)

WHo does your vote go to JLC?

I agree. Has he been resurrected again?

The BCG is a lovely platform to showcase your work. But let's not kid ourselves, there is very little real talent on show here. If there was: you'd all be working in the industry, and not standing on the periphery trying to get in.

Most of the sketches in Critique are woeful, and that is reflected in the small amount of feedback they receive. People would rather say nothing at all, as oppose to writing something negative about a friend's piece of work. Be honest: how many of you have commented on how great a sketch is, when you really found it to be mediocre at best? Sucking up to each other, in a kind of...'You rub my back and I'll rub yours' fashion. The amount of this I witnessed at The Sitcom Trials was ridiculous.

You need to wake up. You're nice to each other on here, but in the cold light of day, how many of you would stitch up a buddy if you knew it would mean getting that first step on the comedy ladder? I bet most of you would.

Several of those that post in Critique are absolute wankers. And that's fine, the problem lies in pretending that you're not.

I take a lot of satisfaction in the knowledge that most of you will fail miserably in your attempts to make it in the comedy world. Why? Because you don't f**king deserve to.
