Are you a heat hater? Page 4

Haha!

I'm far from a sun worshipper but I do feel generally happier in nicer weather, just as long as it doesn't get too hot.

Winter is nice too but it really is a long season and drags too much.

Whereas blink and you would miss Summer.

I sat in my sunny garden today (in the shade) and read a book, very nice it was too. But now in my room even with the fan on it's bloody boiling and very unpleasant. :(

We're having a "cooler" day: 90F/32C.

We've got quite a nice cool breeze now.

No sun. Yay! :)

It's totally been hotter after sunset than before, today!
My house is mental.

The sun is just getting ready to set here. Rather pleasant outside, so I'm having a few beers on the deck and listening to Meaty, Beaty, Big & Bouncy.

Thinking about a trip to the UK at the end of August. What's the weather like that time of year?

Utterly unpredictable.

It might be warm and sunny!

It should be.
But it could also rain, hail or snow.

And all in the same afternoon.

(and that is not an exaggeration.)

Well, that narrows it down. Eh?

It'll still be somewhat summery, right? Or at least not a frozen wasteland? Thinking about stopping in Iceland (maybe it WILL be a frozen wasteland) along with England, Scotland and Ireland. Maybe Wales if I'm bored. Whistling nnocently

British school Summer holidays run from the end of July to the start of September, but the month that usually gets the most good weather is actually June.

It will be hotter than Tenerife today, apparently.

Considering the heat you're used to, it's likely to be rather chilly. But we've had these 'Indian Summers' of late, so it'll probably be the hottest for us from then until the end of September. I'm sure there's a site somewhere listing previous years' temperatures - then add on a couple of degrees as it's supposed to be the hottest year on record.

It's warm, and lovely outside, and I'm on a break from reading biology, history and English Lit textbooks/notes. :(
