Awesome Cool

Can't wait. It'll soon pass. :D

I watched The International the other day (it may be on DVD now, I dunno) and really enjoyed it. It may have been because I thought it was gonna be rubbish though.

Coraline was very enjoyable too, although I wouldn't take kids to see it, if I stole some.

3-D at least makes it 'an event' to go to the cinema, and justify the pricing rather than watching something 'on a big TV' for 10 quid a pop.

Dan

Still not seen modern 3D for myself. Is it any better than it used to be?

Nor me, it used to be awful. It either worked or gave you a massive headache.

Saw Coraline in digitally projected 3D and it was great. Glasses weren't much trouble and no headache halfway through.

Up is playing at my neighborhood cinema in 3D, maybe I'll see it tomorrow.

I hope "Year One" with Jack Black & Michael Cera directed by Harold Ramis is good.

Also, I can't wait for Scott Pilgrim. I know it's not out until next year, but Edgar Wright's been posting teaser photos everyday on his website, and blogs nearly every week, plus I've finished reading vol.1 of the book, and I've just ordered the other 4 volumes that are avilable!

I saw Coraline too, and the 3D bits were great.

The glasses were Buddy Holly stylee.

Yea the glasses they gave us for Coraline were good for me too. They were comfortable and fit over my glasses so I didn't have to take them off to watch the film.

I also can't wait to see UP! It's out right now but I told my wife I'd wait to see it with her and she's never in the mood to see a movie. :(
She's actually going with some girlfriends to see Star Trek for the first time. She's toooootally not a sci-fi fan but she's going because someone told her it was a good action flick Laughing out loud

I told my wife I'd wait to see it with her and she's never in the mood to see a movie.

It's the other way round in our household. I'm the one who never wants to go.
But we've got these cards £11.99 a month for unlimited Cinema, so now I'm happy to go with my wife to all the movies I want to see, & make excuses for the ones that she likes.
