Doctor Who... Page 304

I think it would have been better to have had Tennant leave in Journey's End - Davros, Daleks & every companion under the sun gave it an epic feel. To come back for sporadic specials is just an anti-climax, plus we could have had a full season in 2009 with the 11th doctor.

No, he had to finish his GCSE's first.

Well I'm hoping his last ep will be a lot better than that one.
I want something a bit meaningful, like the second Master episode or the Rose 'dying' one (the one with the wall and the beach, not the other one with her getting a clone of the doc).

I'm not that keen on recurring villains, like the Master and Davros. It just makes them look poor if they come back time after time and the doctor beats them. You'd think they'd say 'sod it' and go and live a quiet life somewhere.

I like them if they're not used too much, but they have seriously over-used the Daleks over the last few years. It would be great if they were rested for a series.

And Cybermen. Yawn.

I don't mind monsters returning, because it's not usually the same characters returning, just the same race. But the Master, what a loser. Beaten by the doctor in how many stories? He's just a dead duck. Pity they brought him back.

They were some of the best episoooodes!
(in my opinion).

John Simm doesn't look evil enough to be The Master.

I thought that too, but then he done it with Ackting.

The build-up was very clever, but I thought John Simm was miscast, and the last episode of the 2-parter with him was hard work to sit through, it was another of RTD's OTT finales.

But that's only because they haven't used them well, they could be great, macabre baddies, but they've been written as crappy metal soldiers in duff stories.

I thought John Simm was miscast, .

I thought he was actually great in the role.

John Simm was only miscast 'cos he should've been the next Doctor after David. :P

Hee!
So right.

Derek Jacobi was a good Master to, well, for 10 minutes that is.

Dear, The Moff

Please bring back the Sea Devils, thank-you-please.
