Yes, I keep forgetting about Moffat being a Scot. No, I don't think there'll be any cockneying for the lovley new lady. And hopefully not for Matt Smith, either.

Maybe he could do a Welsh accent? Or hispanic?

Actually Welsh wouldn't be too bad. I always fancied Rhys Ifans for the Doctor.

He'd get sat on by any alien foe. Much too wimpy.

Even more so than Tennant!

Who is your avatar john? Cos it looks like Harry Connick Jr, but I'm sure it's not...

I bet you'd like to dark his arse now wouldn't you?

It's McCoy(Karl Urban) from the fab new Star Trek film.

I'm betting his is already far too dark for me.

Good looking girl.
And I agree about the clips of Matt Smith. By looking at those clips from Party Monsters he could easily carry over Tennent's wacky version of the Doctor.
Hey Zooo, I know he'll never be your Tennent but do you think Smith could win your heart?

She's a cutie, I will say that.

Edit: I belive we've talked about this in the Kevin Bishop how thread. :D

Yeah, hot. She also showed herself to be a very good actress in The Kevin Bishop Show so she should hopefully be good in this.

Is this Dr Who or The Red-Headed League? Oh well, at least she's fitter than Catherine Tait.

Nope! :)
Nevah!

She was in that?? :O

Who did she play?

Has anyone seen the 'classic' Who serial 'Image of The Fendahl'? I'm thinking about getting that on DVD.

Ooh she was in Doctor Who before (as usual).
How old is she? From the pic I though she was about 17, but if she's been in Kevin Bishop etc she's probably a lot older.

Do the old Who's hold up in terms of pacing? Sometimes a lot of these old classic shows can really drag when you see them now.

I suppose some of them drag. Comparing them to new Who, they're all at a snail's pace.

Yea I've been watching a lot of classic Who over the last few months and they really do move slow.
I find Jon Pertwee's late episodes and up aren't that bad for pacing.
The William Hartnell episodes are unbearably slow!

I've seen it, quite good. Apart from the fact that some eyes have clearly been painted onto someones eyelids at one point!

Depends on the story. If it's a six parter and up, there's probably a fair bit of running up and down corridors, getting caught, escaping, getting caught again style padding.

They're pretty old though! It was a different TV age.
