And jelly is not really preposterous.

It bloody well is... see it wobble. Tee hee!

(1) How awful that he doesn't want to 'have a laugh' on the game shows. Gervais is such a terrible person?

(2) Yes, there is plenty of time, but at this moment in time, my fact is true, so I'm not sure what your point is.

(3) Thing is, he isn't arrogant. He acts arrogant for comical effect.

I haven't spat my dummy out at all. You were making ridiculous accusations. If you want to see what Gervais thinks of these stupid theories, go to rickygervais.com and watch the video on there.

Your just being a child now. Teary

Your just being a child now. Teary

your = your
you're = you are

You'll get nowhere in life without spelling and grammar.

Fantasy Bazaar and Jeremy you obviously have two very different opinions on this subject which you have both made very clear. You're not going to change each other's minds. I think the debate has run its course and is in danger of descending into an argument. Think happy thoughts :)

I knew I should've put a smiley face at the end of that to show I was only messing. Ooops.

:)

Does Gervais think he is too big for Panel shows?

No, the width of the studio doors dictates that.

:)...see...I'm happy

A slight tangent, but for anyone that saw his interview with Garry Shandler, was it staged as being really awkward? Or was it really just uncomfortable?

No it wasn't staged. If you have bought the excellent Not Just The Best Of Larry Sanders Show DVD there are extras where he uses the same interview style. I think when he senses someone isn't being genuine or upfront he starts pyscho-analysing them. The interview with Sharon Stone is just painful to watch.

Thanks for that. Yeah I did hear about the Sharon Stone one.

Shandling I meant not shandler.

See, I think it was staged, to an extent.

They're both gifted performers with a lot of comedy experience, and I think that as it went along, they both saw what the other was doing and saw how they could play off each other to get a funny result.

Kind of like a jazz band improvising. (That is the ponciest thing I have ever said)

Anyway, I don't think they wrote it beforehand or anything, but I certainly don't think it was all genuine awkwardness.

Ooh, what's that scrabbling sound I hear? Oh yes. Clutching at straws.

:P

Laughing out loud All I can say is that's what I thought when I was watching it. I do not apologise!

I met Gervais a couple of years back, my cousin was training him for a boxing match and I was up the gym every day, I must say that he is a very funny and very nice guy.

Oh I loved that show. Who was he beating up again? Wasn't it Anthea Turner's husband or something?

He looked much fitter than Ricky, but he still lost. Ha.
