Aaron's Dad.

1) He's younger than I'd thought.
2) I Lovey How London was Built.
3) Who dresses that poor man?

Apparently, allegedly, and all the other words which mean I not entirely sure is true, my mum is second cousin to German striker Miroslav Klose

We found out whilst at my grandparents house, watching the World Cup Final 2002, when my gran said stuff like 'Klose? That's a Polish name. Your grandad's cousin/uncle[/something else] was called that. He emigrated to Germany etc etc'.

As you can tell, I'm not convinced. If it's true, however, one of my relatives has played in a World Cup Final!

I thought that an old Auntie of mine, Winifred Massey who was a Councillor for the Labour Party might have been on it, but she isn't. So the nearest relative I can get is the well-known actor Lee Boardman, who is my late Uncle's wife's brother: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lee_Boardman

Also further away is the footballer now manager John Sheridan who is my Dad's half sister's husbands cousin: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Sheridan_(footballer)

i.e. harldy one who gets invited to Christmas dinner.

Bit like this story - http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1185033/White-woman-listened-reggae-long-lost-cousin-reggae-legend-Bob-Marley.html

And they laughed at their granny who used to say they were related to Bob Marley.

There's a familt story that we're related to Robert Burn's wife, Jean Armour, but I haven't found a link yet.

:) I assume you 'acquire' rather than watch... Do you get the hour eps or the 25ish min?

Someone I need to meet!

Family tradition has it that we are related to:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Harrison

I recall my Dad telling me, that when he was a kid, relatives were still trying to get the prize money out of the Admiralty; but I have never been able to discover our actual relationship.

To my shame, I am related to this:

Does anyone else have family members or relatives on Wikipedia - or are you on it yourself?

I had to change details on my relative who has an entry on there - gawd knows where the person who wrote the entry got their info from.

Yes - and yes the biodata has several inaccuracies. Yet many journalists use Wikipedia for research. Just goes to show that online journalism (or churnalism) is sloppy, careless and almost always lacking proper research.

Looks like they are 25 minutes. Does that mean I need to look elsewhere? I got them from a torrent site which shall remain nameless.

They had some weird inaccuracies about my father-in-law on wiki.

Dear old Dad

Like what? It mentioned his daughter-in-law was a sexy supermodel, award-winning writer and comedienne extraordinaire?
