I love the spoof movies.
My fav was National Lampoon's Loaded Weapon with Sammual Jackson and I think it was Emilio Estevez(sp).
Been trying to find a copy of that for ages, great film.

Quote: Griff @ February 19, 2008, 11:54 AMI've entered the New Yorker caption contest a few times though (and never won). They have fantastic cartoons and the standard of captions is usually brilliant.
Loving these.

You scary, scary, scary, man
A person who says that is capable of anything.
Have you actually seen it or are you thinking I'm talking about an actual National Lampoons film?
I saw it in a Southampton in a cinema, which was empty except for me. I swear I could hear him softly weeping.
Quote: Nick Rivers @ February 20, 2008, 8:23 AMHere's some films that actualy make me laugh. That's 'LOL' films.
Top Secret - I'm in it and it's my favourite Zucher et co film.
Top Secret is my favourite film. And of course you were the star of the show!
Everyone always seems to say Duck Soup is the best Marx Bros. film, but I personally found Monkey Business, A Night at the Opera, and A Day at the Races to be better. Monkey Business in particular seems to be way underrated.
Day at the Races is probably tied for my favorite with Duck Soup. All of those you mentioned are my favorites although I think I may have seen "A Night at the Opera" too many times.
Gregory's Girl is on BBC1 tonight at 10.50pm.
In no order:
Annie Hall(there's enough comedy in there for it to qualify I reckon)
Amelie(same)
Dr Strangelove
There's Something About Mary/Dumb and Dumber(Farrelly Brothers get far too hard of a time)
Zoolander
Holy Grail
In The Loop
Royal Tenenbaums
A Jack Lemmon film(The Apartment or The Odd Couple for me I think)
Harold and Maude
Fargo
I'm aware there's 11 there.
Worst comedy I've ever seen is Team America: World Police, it's the only film I ever had to take out of the DVD player midway through to fling against a wall.
Borat would be up there if I hadn't seen Ali G in the USA
EDIT-Groundhog Day would definitely make my top 10... Clerks would probably too.

Oo, zooo's arse! Sounds great!
I like these reminders of a more innocent time! Seriously, how much e-flirting did Aaron and zooo used to do?

Yeah, they were awful!
So, so bad, eh Scats?
