Looking to free a wee bit of space up on my C: drive.
C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\Local Settings\Temp = 8GB
As the above be a Temp folder, can anything be removed from it? 8Gb just seems alot.

Apparently it should be safe. Do wait for someone like Aaron to reply to this thread though.

Cheers mate
Yes. Anything "in use" should just come back with an error saying it can't be deleted because it is, well, in use. Everything else can f**k off.
Cool, just got rid of 9Gb.
Woo hoo! 8GB just blown away!
Thx

Ah I need to free up some space on my laptop
There were a load of built in programmes as well that I probably don't need
If you upgrade to Windows 10, you can install a fresh version minus all the bloatware.
Been advised not to install Windows 10 - too many "spies". What with Google keeping tabs on what you are viewing, we don't need Microsoft as well.
Quick way - use windows 'disk cleanup' it's already there on your computer.
It will get rid of loads of useless files safely.
You could just add an n to the title
that way everything will be cn and once you've seen it you don't need it
Most of the data sharing can be turned off.

I'd imagine that your current version of Windows is also sending information to the mothership, so if you're currently using the abomination that is Windows 8, do yourself a favor and upgrade.
