Father Ted - The Definitive Collection

£17.89 at Sendit.com.

I'm very tempted by this as I've wanted to get the Father Ted box set for ages, but it has held it price on both Amazon and Play for a long time. I've never used sendit before. How does their service compare to the above mentioned two?

Def.

Sendit are fine. I can't think of a shop I've ever come across and not been satisfied with their service.

My only thought would be that now they've dropped price, Amazon et. al may follow suit and go even lower. As you say, I too have wanted to get it for a while, but am not willing to pay £25 for it.

This is an excellent thread what I made. :)

Well, I've ordered it now.

Self-aggrandiser! That's worse than self-love, you know?

Am I still allowed self-abuse? Otherwise they'll be nothing in my life.

I prefer the term 'self-dating'.

Now that is a wholesome rebranding of the act. Like it.

Surely self-dating is just going out alone to the pictures? Or for a candle-lit meal for one?

Also at [p=http://www.play.com/DVD/DVD/4-/619665/Product.html] for the same price, where you can also earn the BCG a bit of commission to keep running. :)

I'll delete my link then. :)

Yeah, State of Play at £3.99 may be a bargain but what about Father Ted ?

:|

The complete collection of Starsky and Hutch is going for a touch under £15 in Head (formally known as Zavvi). £15 for 20 discs can't be bad.

Head? Haven't heard of that one. Do you know of more than one branch?

Well, the story goes that some of the board of Zavvi bought up the stock that Zavvi had left over and called their shop 'Head'. They retain the same lettering and colours of Zavvi. Leeds has got one and I presume there are others around?

Check this link on Wikipedia, shows you a picture of my Leeds store.

Ah, I seee. None around here. I'll keep an eye out for it in future though. Hadn't heard about it previously. Thanks for the heads up! (No pun intended.) :)
