Nice one Mikey - keep going. You are doing all the right things. ;)

Thanks guys. :)

With sitcoms, I just get a half-baked idea in my head, then, within a few hours, I've drawn up enough notes for a pilot, plus ideas for the other 5 episodes.

Mind you, I've only just started sending stuff out properly to prodcos. The last few months I've been polishing, polishing, polishing.

ANYWAY....

And now back to the CoC discussion... :P

Productive and humble... what a c... Whistling nnocently ;)

Good luck, Mikey! Hope it gets somewhere with the commissioners! Let us know of any developments.

Hopefully, yes. And I'll keep you posted. :)

Well, THAT killed the conversation. :P

Did you send the prodco a full script, or an extract and treatment or synopsis Mickey?

Hey Mikey - I've just caught up.

Well done you - do indeed keep us posted! And don't hide it in another thread next time - show off a bit more! It's lovely to hear when people are doing well.

:D

All I sent (by email) was the pilot script itself, with a line or two about the premise in the email.

Well, I figured I'd create a post about it once there's more news. It's early days yet. :)

what's happening?

It's just what I posted earlier.

This:

"Speaking of which, a prodco are interested in my radio sitcom, and are looking to develop a pilot to pitch to Radio 4, so things are starting to happen for me."

No, I got that Mikey, I just meant what's happening, i.e tell us more, sounds good!

:)

ooohhhhhhhhhhhh. DOH! (SLAPS HEAD)

Can't say much at the moment.
Basically, a prodco (an established one, NOT one of those fly-by-nights) likes my radio sitcom (my first stab at writing a sitcom for radio actually) and is going to meet with various radio producers/contacts in the hope of producing a pilot episode, which will then be pitched to Radio 4 for a hopeful series.
That's all I can reveal at the moment, coz things get all very "secret service" once things start moving, and I really don't wish to balls this up.
More will be revealed in time.

In the meantime, I feel I'm hijacking this thread.

Can we now get back to talking about CoC? :)

There's supposed to be an update today about the CoC.

Nothing yet though.

Has there been a cock up on the CoC front?

Well it looks like if you've been invited for an interview you would have heard by now.
