Langham, can we forgive him? Page 6

'Yes, if it was a nationally broadcast hanging.'

I would be in the front row for that.

That makes you sound like a swell person!

Horrible cases like these seem to make us all turn into mentals. In lots of different ways. Myself included.

Ha ha, nice to know I have made a good impression with my first few posts. I like to think I am a nice person, hopefully some of the guys on here who know me from other places will verify that. This just happens to be something I feel very strongly about.

Forgive him or not, it is a pointless question as you have more chance of seeing Mike Reid star in a new sitcom (he died last week)

I'm sure you are nice. :) That's kind of what I mean, even nice people go all blood-lust-y when this subject comes up.

Mr Dead making a comeback then?

It's still difficult to know for sure and he probably - as an actor - didn't do himself any favours by breaking down in court.

It seems that other inmates have already branded him guilty though.

Yeah, but prisoners read The Sun (and various 'interesting' publications, cough cough) exclusively. Or so I imagine.

Is that police profiling or stereotyping? :D

When Langham's in, at least one will read the Independent. ;)

A bit of both, I suspect.

All we have got in the end is the law, and the law has found Langham guilty of an offence and he's going to prison. He may or may not be guilty. There are surely some guilty men still walking the streets and some innocent men in prison. Only Langham (and the girl) really know what he is or isn't guilty of and their testimony and the evidence has been looked at and the court has made it's decision.

End of (unless there is an Appeal)

You come off as holier than thou; trumpeting the law; intimating that you are as clean as Skeeter's peter, but there is a darkness emanating from your soul and spilling over into your posts.

I throw my drink into your face.

Now what?

Splice the mainbrace?

You could try getting off your high horse?

Laughing out loud

And you can TRY to get up off your ass.

Your retort was weak.

I throw another drink into your face (and my horse laughs at you).

I like your laughing horse, he's making more sense than you are...

...but I guess that's as usual, eh?

<Wipes face>

Now what, is there more?

:)

Ah Ha! He's gone, tail between his legs, no surprises there then... alas British pirates aren't what they were... ;)
