Need You Tonight - Series 1

We're a new online-audio sitcom about the last four people on earth being trapped in a library, featuring Nadia Kamil of Spats.

Hope you guys could give us a listen. If you are on Facebook could you also add us as a friend, as Facebook deleted our last account for making too many friend requests!

Am slightly shocked to have done a search and found a thread on this. It's clearly not catching on. Anyway they found me on BCG Facebook thing and told me to mention it on here if I liked it and I did. So this is me keeping my side of the agreement. I've mentioned them. Okay I will say that it was actually very good and funny if not a little odd.
Am surprised they've put a first series on the thread. Is it coming back for one? Will ask on Facebook I guess.

the fourth episode is really really funny

fifth one not as good. not bad though.

guess I am alone in my appreicatio of this. just listened to the sixth epiosde of this and thought it was frankly quite brilliant. It tried to explore the depth of Polly (wierdo) in quite cool way was surprised by the depth shown as you don't normally get this type of comedy on the amuerotr internet things. In general they try to get laughs in more obvious ways perhas it is why this doesn't appear to have caught on but as I say brilliant last ep. Would recommend it as essential listening to BCGers who are thinking about internet comedy porjects

Just got a message from Need You Tonight thanking me for my BCG plugs. Wierd.

I just thought about this show. Nothing in particular I just thought of it for about a second and I laughed. It made me realise that I should put another comment on this thread.

*interrupts Seb. O-N's posting monopoly*

Trying to regain some of my posting domination on this thread

am now curious if there has ever been a thread that has reached a hundred and only had one contriutor (i know there are two other contributors on this thread however I am quite prepared to up my posts on this thread to a 100).

Perhaps the problem here is that the OP didn't tell us where to get their comedy. They just asked us to join some social networking stuff.

Links to some podcasts, MP3s, YouTubes, etc, would probably provoke a better response.

Phew! I was thinking I'm gormless for not being able to find their work!

The episodes are on their Facebook page, in the Music tab.

They're audio episodes, so they wouldn't be ideal for YouTube.

What they SHOULD do is get themselves their own website to put their work on as lots of people might be put off by having to join Facebook.

I listened to episode one. I have to say I didn't really get it.
The premise is that they are the last humans, stuck in a library. Snowed in, I think.
I will listen to more to give it a chance.

Cheers Mikey.

I just listened to them. Not bad. Not great either, but definitely listenable, with some funny lines and a couple of good characters. For an amateur effort, very good, I'd say.

And there is a bit in episode four that had me creasing up :)

Am slightly dissapointed at losing my monoply on this thread, however pleased that other people have found this- as, despite some flaws, I do think it deserves some recognition. Ialso thought episode was the best one.
Kevin, which characters did you like. I liked Mary the studenty one. I recognise the actresses voice.
