British Comedy Guide

Wotcha...

Hello again, guys, back after a month's enforced absence in Weston-Super-Mare where I have been enjoying no access to my phone/Blackberry/laptop/internet. £1500 per week to share a room with 2 strangers, make my own bed, serve and clear up my own meals and wash-up, plus having to be up at 6.50am and in bed by 11pm. Some hotel eh!

On the plus side I am feeling fantastic and (rather guiltily) discovered an absolute goldmine of characters and material.

Hope all has been well with everyone. I hope Seefacts has been able to sleep without my reassuring presence - I'm back now my lovely lad, so throw away those rubber sheets.

Anything/anyone changed round here or in TV comedy (no TV either for a month)?

All the best.

Welcome back, sir.

It's nice to be back. On the downside I will no longer be able to use alcohol as excuse if I write something wankerish.

Just use the excuse that I do. That I'm a wanker.

Alright Tim. Hope all went well.

Around here: the more things change, the more they stay the same...

:)

Perrin is okay. The Inbetweeners is good again (if not better). Stewart Lee's Comedy Vehicle was the best and funniest and cleverest thing I've seen for ages this year, but it's not everyone's cup of tea.

Dan

Fortunately had all the Stewart Lee's and Brooker's Newswipes I missed recorded for me. Only seen one Perrin so far - think I am too in love with the original to give it a fair crack on its own terms.

The Inbetweeners I shall have to catch up on.

Have much writing to catch up on. Have a whole script written out in longhand needing deciphering and bunging into digital form...

Good to see you back. The Slaggs did think about you while you were away. :)

Hey Tim! I missed you, and I had to pay someone else to perv on me through the window.

Your welcome.

Glad to see it went well and good luck with the future! :)

Swerytd was pretty spot on about the recent TV.

Payment?

Shit - who have I been looking at then?

Were you let out early for good behaviour?

Welcome back Tim. The last thing I wrote in your direction was probably insulting so I wish to offer an olive branch instead of an insult. Or just an olive. But not in a martini. :)

Welcome back. :)

Wotcha to you too Tim. Look forward now.
