I'd planned to take a nap when I got home from work, but it seems that everyone I know decided to call me as soon as I hit the bed. Guess I'll brave the fire ants and try to pull more weeds in the vegetable garden.

The thing is, if I lose my job, I have to try and find rent money for the next 3 months (no where is hiring) as I can't break my rent contract until July. Scary stuff at the moment. Scary scary!
It probably won't come to that though. I know it's easier said than done but it can be a waste of time and energy worrying about 'what ifs'. Not very comforting, I know.
I think I'm safe should it come to redundancies... I keep the place going. However, should the whole place close down... there would be nothing for me to run.

I've spent the last 8 years working in the public sector, so hopefully I don't have to worry about anything like that.
I'll keep my fingers crossed for you. Or probably forget all about it in a minute, but you know what I mean, I hope.
I've been up since 5:30. My finacee seems to have got food poisoning.
At least that's what I think it is, and with only two days to spare before we leave.

Sorry I was rude about the tourist bit - if it's honeymoon you're after of course it makes sense. Havana's a bit intimidating because you get approached so much, but they're not all after the contents of your wallet.
Big black tie do tonight, and I've just been stood up. Wonder if she got put off when I pulled out my sweaty old Red Brigades T-shirt? Shouldn't have been, there weren't that many holes in it...
