Countries you've not visited but want to

I'm going for India. I'd love to go one day, it looks such a lovely, cultural place with some great music.

I can't think of any countries I wouldn't want to visit.

Libya.

Used to do a lot of business with the Libyans but never went

Germany for the beer and sausages, Japan and China for the culture.

India is the most different place I've ever been. Some of the visions of poverty I saw are among the most soul-crushing things I've ever seen. (And I spent 5 years living in Liverpool). Having said that, it is an amazingly vibrant place with some amazing sights, not including the inside of the toilet of my hotel door which I looked at for two days 'solid'. And no, I wasn't locked in.

I'd recommend a visit, but I'd equally recommend not having any preconceptions before you arrive.

Like DaButt, I can't think of anywhere I wouldn't want to visit, apart from any country with the word 'Democratic' included as part of it's name.

Have you seen The Darjeeling Limited?

Great film and made me want to visit India even more. My friend is going there soon for a couple of months - lucky thing.

I agree that pretty much every country has something to offer though.

Whereabouts in Liverpool did you live?

Whereabouts in Liverpool did you live?

Mainly around Smithdown Road/Studentsville for three years, then a year off Wavertree High Street and a year in Tuebrook.

Tibet.

I've always fancied Canada. Beautiful scenery and proper seasons. Plus it's the same size of the US with 9 times less people. Which is a good thing in my book.

All very good points.

Is your book the 'Times Atlas of the World'?

Ooh Tibet, nice.

I wanna go to Canada, Russia, Japan, the Ukraine and the US of the A. And wherever Father Christmas lives, be that Greenland, the North Pole, orrr, wherever.

All very good points.

But the French Aaron, think of the French!

The past.
