Big Fella's Book - and getting an agent. Page 6

Just walked 2 miles! Doesn't sound a lot, but seven weeks ago I was out of breath walking to the front door to collect the pizza.

I get out of breath, walking to the front door to collect the pizza. But's that because I have a really, really, really big house.

Hope it goes well for you sir.

Thanks Nigel. :)

Good on you BF. Keep it going.

Just a question for a clever mod - is it time to change the title of this thread? Bigfella has now got his answer on the book front and is writing (and living) it. For those of us catching up it would be easier to see "Bigfella's Book" or something, rather than "Best way to approach getting a book published". Though I suppose the latter offers some advice to someone else. I dunno. I'm rambling now. But not for two miles.

Hopefully I'm going to have some good news on the book front this week! I'll say no more but if everyone can cross their figures for me please!

Oh yes - and have now lost 10 inches on the waist line since the operation!

I've also only just read this thread for the first time. Congratulations on the weight-loss.

New thread title caught my eye. Good to hear it's going well, the weight loss and the book. Keep it up.

Thought I would post some more before and after pictures.

The first one was taken on the first day of the pre-op diet around 13 weeks ago and the the one below was taken yesterday - approx weight loss 10 stone.

Wow! You look like half the person. Hope you're feeling well too. :)

Well done, bigfella.

Clever camera work there makes you look like you've put on height! ;)

Dan

I like the Changing Rooms aspect as well. But really well done to you, and my fingers are crossed on the book front.

Good luck all round, not so Big Fella.

Jx

Thanks folks. I'm getting there.

Dolly -I'm afraid it needs another 12 stone to be "half the man I used to be"

That could be the title of the difficult second book!

Dan - Photoshop is a great tool!

Good God man, how tall are you? You look like a human in a hobbit house in that second photo!

6 foot 5 ish.
