I like the Ghandi one. "A sort of Indian Rambo" Laughing out loud

Take A Chance amused me too but I wasn't so keen on 'Interesting Fact'.

Cheers Nil Putter all feedback gratefully received!! :)

Re-cutting Bits of the Take a Chance shoot this week so you may find it a grower or not..... we'll see I don't know entirely yet! :) I like what's there but I'm biased because I know what happens next..

I love "Indian Rambo" too but was expecting some flak... we'll see!

Cheers again Nil I really do appreciate it!

Guy

I think Take A Chance works well as it is. Fast Show-esque. :)

Nice one!

Just found out today Hat Trick are filming one of my sketches for Funny Or Die this week. Should be cool.

Congratulations Lee!! Really pleased for you well done!!! Let us know when it's up!!

Guy ;o)

PS Love the Vyvian ident!

PS Love the Vyvian ident!

Interesting Fact amused but kinda dragged on a wee bit.

The Caroline Hope show felt as tho it should of worked better than it did... for me anyway.

Take a Chance! Sadly only a wee snip but still managed to raise a smile :)

Cheers Random! It all helps! There Is a Caroline Hope 2 coming so see how that fares.

Thank you again!
Guy

Stiil more feedback wanted..... Opinions on Caroline Hope Show please +

I think you have two things going on with the Caroline Hope character, she's doing an Anthea Turner style speaking to an an adult audience as if they are children, but also the Daily Mail style fascism - the English making clothes for Indians etc. So the 'target' for the sketch for me is a bit muddied. Maybe if she did it deadpan without the mugging it would be funnier??

Funny stuff therein.

:)

Cheers Marc taking it on board and thank you for feedback!!!

I know what you mean about Caroline patronising her audience whilst spreading the daily fascism.
I also had the deadpan vs into camera debate myself and to be honest I liked both versions! Should try putting up both in a new shoot!

Once again thank you for feedback as it gives me the bigger picture!

Guy ;-)

Not the same of course but look at the deadpan style here and how it works against his puzzlement that she is so stupid.

Interesting Fact I thought was a great idea - the local TV station making a story out of nothing - but to be honest it seemed to drag and for me would have benefitted from being shorter, or bringing more crap non-stories into the sketch rather than just focussing on the lamp post.

Caroline Hope I enjoyed - I think the character needs to be a bit more dynamic though. Personally I think if you're going to have a xenophobic character you might as well ramp it up. You can get away with it because we're laughing at, not with her. For instance the funniest bit by far was the Indian Rambo line "Don't push me, don't push me" done in an Indian accent. But then straight after came the weaker Bambi gag. I'd have probably saved the Indian Rambo line for last so it went out on a laugh. There's definitely funny in the character - I just felt it needed tweaking. And of course it looks great like all your stuff.

Take a chance looks funny - and actually works as a quickie snippet. Made me chuckle.

Take a chance is very clever!
Funny too.

I liked Interesting Fact, but as been said could have been more a general piss-take of regional shows with a shorter version of the lamp post story and maybe a meet a local hobbyist, a protest to stop the closure of the local massage parlour (elderly punters will now have to walk to the next village for a handjob). That kind of thing maybe...

I found the Caroline Hope character a bit out-dated and didn't like the looks to camera. I thought she was going to be a Judy Finnegan (without the shakes) or Fern Britten and completely patronising and overly PC.

But again, it all looks good and some good performances.
