I'm finally done with school!!! Page 2

Well done, Curt! :D:D:D It'd kind of make more sense to be glad if you now hadn't finished school...in order to go teach at a school, though. :P

You have just finished training as a teacher and you're done with school...

See where I'm going with this?

:D Yep, like that.

And I'm finished with uni forever in a couple of weeks! YAAAAYY!!!!

This Billy Madison scene sums up what I want to say to all students:

3rd Grader: How's high school Billy?
Billy Madison: High school is great. I'm learning new things and everyone is really nice.
3rd Grader: Gee, I can't wait till I get to "hike" school.
Billy Madison: [grabs 3rd grader's face and whispers] Don't you say that. Don't you ever say that. Stay here. Stay here as long as you can. For the love of God, cherish it. You have to cherish it.

Yes, if school or university days are the best of your life, there's nothing to look forward to.

Correct. More sex and beer than a night out with Peter Stringfellow and you can eat anything without your body inflating you to the size of an African elephant. Now I just pay the mortgage :(

Thanks for all the congrats everyone. :)

Yes, if school or university days are the best of your life, there's nothing to look forward to.

In high school I had fun trying to get booze, find parties and didn't know of the side effects like hangovers because I didn't get them.

In College I had fun because I could get booze whenever I wanted it and there were parties in abundance and had the time to sleep off my hangovers to be ready for the next party.

Now I get a hang over from having a few casual drinks, and the parties I go too are pretty well tame and yet now I'm happier than ever.
So I can't buy into the best days of your life are in the past. With that said I'm off to an all inclusive resort in Cuba in a week so perhaps I'm being hypocritical.

For me, getting to make a living from writing comedy would be better than any booze-fest. It's great having a dream to work towards. The thought of staying in a boring 9-to-5, for the rest of my life, scares the shit out of me. I also want to get back into DJing, sometime in the future. Writing comedy and DJing for a living beats being at Uni, hands down.

hands down and pockets empty. ;)
Now that I'm done school I can also work on my artwork. I'm pretty excited about that.

I still haven't sent my sitcom to any Production Companies yet, so who knows what will come of it.

Nice one Curt!

I'm finally done with school... kids. I should really start seeing people my own age. Huh?

What type of artwork?

I wanna seeeee!

(Have you actually shown us some of your stuff before? I feel like I remember.)

Artwork that has never made me any real money.
I used to be a graphic designer and I made a reasonable living off it but overall I hated every minute of the job. I actually chose physical labor over graphic design I hated it so much.

My real passion lies in cartooning and illustration which I've made even less money doing but I absolutely love doing. Laughing out loud
I used to have a website up with all my cartoons on it. I regret destroying it now. Hopefully I'll have a new one by the end of this summer.
