Where to go...

If once my tax has been sorted out I have a big enough rebate, I'm off on a break, but where? I hate hot places, and I might only have a few hundred anyway. Any suggestions?

Venice.

I highly recommend Venice. I went when I was 13.

Venice.

Been there, not the sort of place to go alone. Actually Aaron, Wales does sound good, might go to Port Merion. (Prisoner fan). Been thinking, though - Rekyavik. Quiet, beautiful, or Hamburg. I know a bit of German, I like beer and sausages. Anywhere but here.

My friend has just got back from Krakow. She said it was very chilled out and relaxed and good for a culture vulture (if you are one of those?!)

:)

What the flip is a "culture vulture"?

Someone who likes culture. :D

Is that modern or ancient culture?

I don't think it matters. Scratch that, probably modern actually.

Oh, and Venice stinks of sewerage btw. Very romantic.
