I'm actually waiting for the TV adaptation when they change Jack Delaney to Jackie Delaney and have Susan Boyle play her in her first acting role.

Five copies bought in my family so far and numerous friends have bought a copy or have said they are going to. That should keep the roof over your head for another couple of days. I guess you could move into the pub after that.

I'm pleased to report that I've bowed to peer pressure and ordered my copy too.

There's a nice little fairy story in it and an intellectual discussion about Doctor Who!
Oh dear, I'm not a big fan of Dr Who. David Tennant yes, but all that sci fi malarky does nothing for me.
But thanks to you and my finally ordering a copy of Catcher in the Rye at the same time, my suggested favourites from Amazon will be much improved now. (Unlike Dan with his updates on all things hoover related).
I shall post my review in due course.
