Be honest Chip. You are just waiting for this version.

Cos it's easier to read.

I'm actually waiting for the TV adaptation when they change Jack Delaney to Jackie Delaney and have Susan Boyle play her in her first acting role.
Incidentally, this 5-star Amazon review:
A super read , 16 Mar 2009
By W. A. Peirson - See all my reviews
This first book, by this new writer is well worth reading.
Looking forward to his next publication. And hope there will be many more to follow.
Really hope this author will do well.
suggests a certain bias. I can't quite put my finger on what it is...

I did chuckle when I saw that. Bless!
Five copies bought in my family so far and numerous friends have bought a copy or have said they are going to. That should keep the roof over your head for another couple of days. I guess you could move into the pub after that.
I can recommend it, it's superb and an exciting read
Already in the pub, hic. Thanks guys!! xx
I'm pleased to report that I've bowed to peer pressure and ordered my copy too.
"Hard Evidence - Synopsis
Jackie Malone has been murdered. Her body lies in a pool of blood in the north London flat where she worked as a prostitute. Deep knife wounds have been gouged into her corpse and her hands and feet are tied with coat hanger wire."
Marc, would I be correct in thinking that this won't be my usual chick lit, feel good kind of bedtime read?

There's a nice little fairy story in it and an intellectual discussion about Doctor Who!
Oh dear, I'm not a big fan of Dr Who. David Tennant yes, but all that sci fi malarky does nothing for me.
But thanks to you and my finally ordering a copy of Catcher in the Rye at the same time, my suggested favourites from Amazon will be much improved now. (Unlike Dan with his updates on all things hoover related).
I shall post my review in due course.

Oops, maybe I didn't put that very well. Sorry SwerytD, I was only suggesting you keep a tidy home!

I don't know; you order one 'suck-me-off' specialist universal hoover attachment and suddenly you're stained for life.
Literally.
