I actually missed the very last line, as I was tippy tapping on my keyboard.

The guy on the phone?

She said "It's 1982". And he said "Isn't it just". :)

I thought it was bloody brilliant. :D

Ohhh, yes it was the "isn't it just" that I missed. Thanks! :)

No probs. He was creeeepy. Errr

As long as they don't make the entire series 2 story arc about Princess bloody Diana, it'll be ok! :)

Did I move this to OBC? *scratches head*

Oh well, moving it out anyway. Nice episode. Even though it did have fake tits.

I wonder if it'll rip into Diana...

A really good start. Really very good indeed, actually.

I was very impressed with the episode; I can't wait to see how the guy on the phone thing pans out :-)

Well a distinct improvement on season 1.

Not Life on Mars but going the right way.

Two episodes into series three, and it's corking stuff! Jim Keats is a great character, the bit at the end of episode one where he enters Hunt's office and tells him he hates him was superb.

And what about tonights episode, when Shazz stares ahead, and the Life On Mars music starts up for a few beats; what's that all about?! Made me literally sit up straight!

I missed most of the previous series, so am somewhat confused by some of the goings-on here.

I wonder what it's like to be Keira Knightley's slightly older, bustier, far less rich, successful or famous doppelganger?

Was that what it was? That didn't register at all with me. :D :S :$

I'm glad I'm not the only one who didn't know what that was all about. I'm guessing it's meant to link in somehow with the Sam Tyler era; perhaps in Alex's mind things are coming together?

Shazz seemed to go into a bit of a trance as it was happening. Hmm . . .

It's not going to happen, but it would be great if somehow Sam turned up at the end.

Anything *could* happen, so yes, your Sam theory holds water.

This one was much better than last weeks that had a horrible over complex story and too much stuff.

This one the crime was in the background and nice and simple. All the tension was in the characters and interaction. And it had a really nice sense of humour.
