You can run but you can't hide.
Yeah good luck everyone - although you're all doomed!
How does one package the portfolio of sketches? In one Word or PDF document? Or as six individual files?
Hello, I sent an email with a set of six sketches attached on one word document and my CV on another; or did I....?
Yeah, I did
Does the 10 pages of narrative comedy script need to be in the sitcom template in script smart? It seems to fair chew up the pages as compared to standard film format, for example. If I use this I can get a significant extra chunk of plot development in, but would it be disqualified? I'm guessing they will be pretty strict on 10 pages, but it doesn't seem to directly specify format, although it may be implied.
Do 10 pages in scriptsmart which are unbeatable. Then you'll be fine.
Seeing as how at least one user of this site completed this course last time round, has there been a report up from them about it which I missed? How was it, what did they learn, what has it led to, etc.
No there hasn't. But if you've got any questions you want to ask then PM me and I'll do my best to answer them for you.
It is a brilliant scheme and if you meet the criteria for entry then I urge you to give it a go.
Or better still ask that gentleman below.

Am happy with film format - sitcom format is only necessary for production scripts. It just wastes paper.

One document is preferable, but either is acceptable.

That's interesting, as it's very hard to get the plot kicked off enough in sitcom format.
Hey, I remember sending 10 pages of a sitcom in screenplay format one to someone and they came back with "Why have you sent it in such as weird format?"
I guess you can't please everyone.
I don't suppose it matters much. I guess the 10 pages is just to limit the amount of stuff they have to wade through.
I don't know why they just don't ask for the first word of a script.
Mine would be 'jamboree'.
