It makes you proud to be British! :)

Well done Aaron.

Bloody hell, Britain's in more trouble than I thought if Aaron posting 50,000 posts on a comedy forum is one of our main reasons for feeling pride! Poor Churchill must be turning in his grave...

Ta! Nice though... Nice.

As you didn't read the rest of this thread, I'll assume that you don't know what it is. :)

Nope, no idea.

In some fora, people who accumulate huge post-count milestones are the object of scorn and derision, and are advised to think long and hard about the staggering amount of time they've wasted online. Stuff like: "you're just sitting at the computer every day, waiting for death, avoiding your studies and responsibilities; get a life before it's too late." And there are some folk who unkindly assume that if a person regularly spends much time online it must be a form of escapism because they're either trapped in a miserable marriage or have no soulmate and no chance of ever finding one. Certainly that's probably all true in my case. Naturally the editor of a fine site like The British Sitcom Forums is above such reproach, as he selflessly performs a marvelous job, providing a playground for those afflicted by horrific social disorders and a dire lack of talent. Here I can come and forget about my woes in the real world and just relax, unaware that I come across as a dull, supercilious, smug loser. At least in the years to come, when Mr Aaron is receiving knighthoods, winning BAFTAs and Golden Globes, writing bestsellers and top-rating sitcoms, and having flings with supermodels, I'll be able to proudly boast: I knew him when he was editor of BSG Forums. Which will be a pathetic lie, as I never met him.

Sounds good to me Kenneth!

And well done Aaron - it's a great site and I, for one, am impressed with your enthusiasm for all things comedy!
