What are you eating? Page 240

I loved old Tooty Frooties. But they've definitely changed them.

They are still kiiiind of similar, but not quite right.

Hope to be eating Lemon Meringue later. It's my youngest daughter's birthday today (youngest of 4 daughters, my life has been difficult, very difficult) and just to be awkward and because she knows I'm crap at baking, she wants a meringue. No matter how hard I try I can't roll the f**king pastry out thin enough without the crap breaking, also have to find 24 sodding candles. Starting to get more than just slightly niffed and seriously considering tricking her with lemon curd on bread with some cream from a spray can on top.
Bloody German bakers don't know what a meringue is, so I can't even cheat and go out to buy one.

Well, you won't get a Lemon Meringue. But you can buy an Obstkuchen mit Baiserhaube. Or you buy the pastry from the supermarket, put lemon curd on it and then get Baisers from the bakery and pile them on it. Also, isn't there an English food shop in Lüneburg?

Thanks for the advise Finck. Have been rescued from my pathetic attempt at baking my oldest daughter finished work early to come and save me, and patronise and make fun of me of course.

I'm having Easter Egg. :)

Mint Cornetto

Just whipped up a tasty breakfast. Note the glass of urine that I washed it down with - thanks for the tip, BSG!
