Top three/worst three Coronation Street characters

Who are you top and worst three Coronation Street characters.

Best Three:
1. Ken Barlow: Just a legend of soap and funny when he loses his temper. Has such wonderful ways
2. Kevin Webster: He's a mans man. Lives with difficult people, but he doesn't let it get to him, even when his fists sometimes have to do the talking.
3. Blanche Hunt: Just wonderfully sarcastic

Worst Three:
1. David Platt: Has such a punchable face, just an unforgiving, horrible arse.
2. Audrey Roberts: Just a stupid woman who can't mind her own business
3. Eddie Windass: I really hate all the Windass family, but this person just makes my living room look untidy when he is on the telly.

3. Blanche Hunt: Just wonderfully sarcastic

Whenever I manage to catch an episode, she is always a highlight.

"Top three Coronation Street characters" = "Favourite three methods of executing the Jews".

Top 3 spurious Nazi references.

Best Three? Hmm...

Tyrone
Blanche
Dev
and a mention for Graeme - he has great potential, he just needs the right storyline.

Worst Three

Rosie
Michelle (pointless)
Bill Webster

Corrie's one of my guilty pleasures. Cool

I think there's some top comedy in there at times and great dialogue.

I love the baddies the most, so the first three that come to mind for me are:

Tony Gordon with his scary big eye
Richard Hillman respectable finance consultant/ mass murderer
Charlie Stubbs - shame he got bludgeoned to death by evil Tracy Barlow

The three I'd happily get rid of at the moment:

Eddie Windass - for reasons already stated
Norris - I've never liked those kinds of 'comedy' character
Norris' girlfriend - totally implausible relationship!

Was there a funny dog in it that did tricks and stuff?

If there was that would have been good.

Otherwise it's shit apart from when Jack Duckworth pretended to be a gigolo.

I wish I could add to this discussion, but I don't watch any soap operas.

I have been forced to watch Coronation Street and EastEnders on occassion due to either family Christmas or because I was courting and I didn't want to reveal the real me until after we did the deed.

All I could think about afterwards was 'why aren't these people dead?', not through any intentions of malice but by there lifestyles.

Every morning they'd have a fry up breakfast in the cafe, then at lunch they'd drink in the pub, then fight / shag / run over each other over until the pub opened again in the evening. Then drunkenly fight / shag / run each other over again.

I'll stick with my aliens, androids and time limit based secret agent shows - far more realistic.

Best

1: Eddie Yates
2: Hilda Ogden
3. Jack Duckworth

Worst

1. Len "Touch kids up in the swimming pool" Fairclough
2. Lister
3. David Platt

As you can tell, I haven't watched in a while. ;)

Definitely.

These are the four reasons I ever watch/ed Coronation Street:

Ian McKellan
Lister
Vince from Queer As Folk
Sean from Queer As Folk

Don't turn my threads into a thread of Anti-Semitism.

Worst Three

Michelle (pointless)

Yes, but sexy with it.

Loved it when he was in it. The way he'd borrow money from Norris and never give it him back. But instead of money he gave him advice on how to be a great writer. Write in the nude he said. Classic.

Also, a character I strangely really like at the minute is Joe, played by Rhys Dinsdale. Probably because he threw food at the Windass's on Christmas day.

Best:
Dev - hilarious ALL the time
Blanche - inspired
Eileen - good one-liners

Worst:
Rosie - hideous
Deidre - boring
All the Windasses rolled into one grotesque chav ball

So is Ken gonna get it on with Stephanie Becham or what.

I doubt it, he's too busy focussing on his rap career: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IWWLnm-eFBo
