When in your life did you laugh louder than ever before?
When did you laugh your loudest?
Just. When I read my College of Com,edy 2009 entry.
Ummm loudest was at a Ross Noble gig and it was really embarassing as I couldn't stop.

I think you're getting laughing mixed up with crying.
When God tickled me.
Seriously though, yesterday.
Probably a couple of years ago when I was watching Fry & Laurie - the bit when they're doing Hey Jude and Stephen comes in with a preposterously low voice
A Curb episode towards the end of series four!
Larry has the chance to sleep with his co star but can't because she's a republican and has a picture of Bush on her dresser.
He then goes to his dressing room to tell Jeff but Jeff gets angry and says "Are you crazy? I'd f**k her with a Bush mask on!"
I cried and cried for ages, kept rewinding it back. I love it so much more because it's not scripted, to me that added so much to the line.

Says who? Is there a 'script' book detailing what was given to the cast as the scene 'outlines' and what actually was improvised?
I think there is something of that nature...
Or am I thinking of a different show?
I think it was when I saw Stewart Lee in 2005. I was in tears at one point. Tears of laughter, Aaron. Not pain.
I generally try not to laugh out loud because people who laugh out loud don't look very cool.

I read the big book of Curb and from that Larry tell us how he and the producer are the only one's who know the script beforehand, he likes to keep people reactions completly natural. He sometimes, if he needs the scene to go in a certain direction, will mention a snippet to the cast, e.g - I need you to ask about dinner plans tonight! But for the most part it is totally unscripted.
The producer has been known also to tell a cast memebr something so they can catch Larry unaware, e.g Krazy eye Killa, Larry had no idea that rap was coming.

I don't quite understand why a line being "unscripted" makes it funnier than one that is? Funny's funny, no matter how it's arrived at.

I frequently have to leave the office and have secret laughter sessions due to this very reason.

It's well known that it's not scripted but the cast are given the basics of what they have to do and say in each scene.
it's improvising!
