Clement Freud R.I.P.

Says it all, really.

I know, it's terrible. I wonder how Nicholas Parsons and Paul Merton are taking it all?

Very sad news this morning.

A great human being who will be sadly missed by all.

RIP

A great man, and still one of the best on JAM.

RIP

Sad news this. I loved his semi-dour style and he never really showed any chinks in that armour.

Quite often forgotten that he was a forerunner to Jamie, Delia, Gordon et al.

:(

He will be sorely pissed.

A Freud Not.

Can't say I was aware of his other stuff, but I enjoyed him greatly on Just A Minute.

I missed this news. and now I miss him :(

Likewise, loved him on Just A Minute. (Irrelevant JAM aside: I'm currently reading Derek Nimmo's book Not in Front of the Servants, which is quite fun). I always enjoyed the bit in Derek & Clive's Ad Nauseum sketch 'Politics', where Peter Cook opines that the Liberal Party would get more votes if Clement Freud had flowers up his arse.

I was really sad to hear this this morning. :( He was very funny on JAM and a great personality.

RIP

Me too. I woke up to soundbites from JAM on the radio and wondered what that was all about. Then they said. :(

This got me confused for a second, trying to recall his appearences in the Chirs Morris sketch show.

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

:$

Ahem. Now that's sorted out, he was great, sad news.
