Far too harsh, how dare you call that rubbish! I spent months of research shadowing quantum physicists reading up Hawking and Einstein's theory of relativity. Everything you see will be based on actual scientific fact! and some conjecture where we take creative license.
I'm afraid you'll find I already solicited a sitcom with the same basic premise to SKY in 1998/7 entitled DR WHY. Lennie Bennet was keen to play the title role alongside Floella Benjamin as "Princess Sputama ". I had just finished writing (and I mean HAND writing) episode 71, (this was 1998/7 don't forget)when there was an incident in rehearsals. My script was scrapped, and Lennie never worked in TV again. I reworked the idea into a film (movie) Dr Why and The Invasion of The Planet of the Cheeky Monkeys. Co-incidentally, this was the first script I ever submitted by email. I have been sending out copys at the rate od five a month; since 2002/3. I am confident someone will snap up the rights before your idea gets off the ground. So I really wouldn't bother pursuing yours till I can verify/confirm. Otherwise I'll see you in court.

With regards to the recession if you are currently unemployed or a struggling writer, have you ever considered making porn? I think there's a market for comedy porn, I saw one the other day that was verging on political satire.
