NewsRevue again! Page 39

Deadline is usually Tuesday afternoon, so probably too late ... unless it's the best thing since sliced bread. :)

Balls. Sent mine yesterday.

Still, at least I can convince myself I didn't get in because I was late!

Canned mine! :( Bastards! Angry Bet it was that swine Sooty bad mouthing me to the director again. Hates you!

Not my fault if your comedic sperm cells are weak swimmers.

Currently preparing to send 2000th sketch.

Ooh. I see there's a writers meeting coming up at Canal Cafe on April 30th.

I'm hoping to attend.

Anyone else?

What are the deadlines for the two shows? are they weekly or monthly?

Weekly. Every Tuesday.

Is that a new sketch you've got in there Ben, or the one you got in already being done again??

Dear god.

Hi folks - I have been sending stuff to Newsrevue for a few weeks with no luck yet so popped along and saw show on saturday night to get a feel for the material they use - laughed my socks off, evil yet so goddam funny.
I was blown away by how fast paced the show is- very different to Treason Show (which has used some of my stuff)
I was sent the email invite to the writer's meeting on the 30th so will go along - a bit of a hike from the midlands but only £2 on National Express!

No, that's a new one.

All this dmandable competition just as I start writing again.

No, that's a new one.

Is it in Critique ?

Well, I'm definitely going to the writer's meeting.
See you there. :)

I'm coming up from Worthing, near Brighton.

My plan: Go to the meeting, then browse round for some adventure, bar-wise. (unless of course the Canal Cafe has some excitement going on.)

************* EDIT **********************
Just realised it's on a Thursday, when a NR show will be On. :P
So I'll be seeing the show. YAYYYY! :)
