Comic Timing

I just got a rejection letter today that my wife had been hiding from me for nearly 4 weeks in case I was going to get all bitter and twisted about it.

Guess what I was doing at the time? No! Not that!

I was sending the same thing that had been rejected out to somebody else, a new hot lead that I'd been given.

Is this an example of some of the worst comic timing ever?

Needless to say that as I pressed the send button I had nothing but total faith in my project!! Sick Sick

Good man! keep sending them, those brain dead meat sacks wouldnt know a good show if it came and vbeat them to wtihin inches of their lives

Ah Gavin

You're obviously a man of great taste, perception and hopefully limitless resources:

Wanna buy and commission my TV show?

I think you have to wait 6 to 18 months for Gavin's response

What about if I cut him in for a % points?

That'll get him moving won't it?

What's the secret of comedtiming!

Whistling nnocently

I like percentages :D what type of sitcom is it?

A great one. Think Fawlty Towers meets Steptoe & Son meets Hancock meets The Office.

Better than all them put together.

It's about a bloke who runs a hotel cum rag and bone business. He has delusions of grandeur and is making a docu-soap about himself.

I'll buy it damn it heres a blank cheque and a celebratary hooker enjoy!!

Success at last!

I'm off to change my profile and now I'm famous please don't all go PM ing me looking for a leg up.

This is a tough business you know. You gotta make your own way. Nobody ever did me any favours. Except Gavin that is.

Very funny ... this thread is better than some sketches I've read for comedy timing...

Excellent! out of 10 I'll give it 0.0000145 don't want to get you too excited...

You are really Simon Cowell and I claim my prize. Your generosity of spirit gave you away. ;)

Cum rag!

Nice.

Comic Timing is like natural rhythm , you have either got it or you haven't.
