Met quite a few although I have never gone all silly or giddy, and never collect autographs, they are just people who are really good at their jobs.
Met Johnny Depp once though, really nice bloke, funny too (seriously).

Jeremy's a really nice, quietly-spoken, surprisingly-small guy with a brilliant comic brain.
Craig Charles ponced a cigarette from me when I worked as an extra on the Funky Bunker.
And it was very nice to meet Zoe Salmon after appearing on Blue Peter.
But my favourite has to be when I was younger I went Carol Singing in Holland Park and Robert Redford answered the door.

Simon Amstell - Shy, but funny.
Tim Vine - was cracking jokes and was a down to earth guy.
Ben Elton - moody bugger.
Dara O'Briain - was grouchy because he hadn't eaten, but was not a nice man.
Robert Llewellyn - what a nice man.
Lisa Rogers - Mmm, seemed pleasant enough.
Frank Skinner - affable.
Sean Lock - as great as his is on stage.
Rhod Ghilbert - happy to chat.
Lee Mack - didn't mind chatting.
Jimmy Carr - really good bloke, dead polite and respectful.
Ross Noble - didn't mind chatting.
Bill Bailey - a bit bemused in an amusing way.
Tony Robinson - I was in a hurry, so he looked a bit surprised!
Dave Gorman - seemed a bit put out that he had to meet people AT a signing.
Jethro - a nice pleasant old man.
I've met Ken Dodd a couple of times (fiercely intelligent, always on) and Faith Brown (loud, enormous knockers). She did impressions of Hylda Baker and Margaret Thatcher. This was in 2007, mind you, so she wasn't exactly surfing the zeitgeist.
I also did a wee next to Ricky Tomlinson. This was at a urinal trough, I'm not weird.
I shared a bag of hula hoops with Noel Fielding once.
Met Larry David at his office in Cali the year before last. Met David Beckham in an LA restaurant the day before.

I bought a drink for Rik Mayall one, before I realised who he was.
I met Martin O'Neill at a supporters forum when he was briefly Norwich City manager. I was a bit drunk and went up to him. I spent the next 20 minutes saying how great he was and how he was going to put Norwich back in the Premiership. About a week later he left Norwich and went to Leicester, guiding them to the Premiership instead and Norwich are now in danger of dropping into the 3rd Division. Oh dear.
