True. These aren't separate episodes, but one episode that suddenly cuts out after twenty minutes. The way it suddenly just cuts to adverts always surprises me too, it looked like it cut mid-sentance to a Mitchell and Webb ad!

Yeah, I reckon the whole thing is gonna be just over an hour long. They almost seemed to stop for the ad break, it seemed to me that they all paused, I laughed because I thought they'd done it intentionally.
It's not really all that brilliant but I kinda like it; it's had a few good moments. It feels as if they're trying too hard to use this as a way to get either another series or the movie commisioned. If it works (And the new series is as good as the early stuff.) then my appreciation for it will go up considerably.
And they have the laugh track back. Sorry, but my parents even said it today and they couldn't care less about Red Dwarf.

I found that cringeworthy. Lots of stuff intended to please fanboys but not funny in the slightest and just painful.

I think it's been outstanding so far.
I would say it was mediocre. There are moments, but only a few.
The one main problem I have is that it appears to taken the plot from The League of Gentlemen's Apocalypse, in that it is the characters who are now in our world and they go to their creators in order to help them continue with their lifes.
Sadly, The League of Gentlemen's Apocalypse is commonly regarded as not being a good film.

That was done on purpose as they were talking about how annoying 3 parters are and not being in or missing bits.. It was meant to be a joke.

I don't think that all is what is seems with the new RD episode.. Its more likely that they are hallucinating everything and are still onboard RD.. It should make more sence after tonights episode airs and I think they would have been better recieved if they had played it as 1 long feature lengh episode.
As Dave was repeating Dwarf all night, I caught the repeat showing of Episode 2 out the corner of my eye and realised something quite hilarious.
When they appeared in our reality in the branch of Currys, they all landed on very inexpensive items or the floor. Not one of them went head first through a brand new plasma 50 inch with pyrotechnics going off everywhere. Did they spend all their budget on the Star Bug car I wonder?
