David Tenant and Catherine Tate are doing the Jonathon Ross show today on radio 2

Who they phoning?

Aaaggghhhh! Can the production team of this show not recognise when they get things right?

Shadows, statues, kids in gasmasks all bloody terrifying and way better than most US alternatives.

But they keep going for; flying daleks, slitheen and crappy devils.

True.

I'd like to see Mickey more, I thought he would have been a good companion for The Doctor in all honesty. Martha, I've seen enough of.

Martha was all signed up to be in Torchwood but dumped them at the last minute to be in that new English CSI thingy. Verrry professional.

Am bloody glad though. :)

"I will not rip off rubbish effects from Vin Diesel films especially if the end result looks worse than the original."

Though the monsters look absolutely nothing like the creatures in Pitch Black. And if there is a bit of copying going on, well, it's something Who has always done.

Kind of only half looking forward to this one. From what I've seen and heard, and taking a look at the two writers involved, it looks like it's going to be a bright, funny romp; which is fine I suppose but I just want to get onto the darker, important episodes to come later!

The first thing I thought of when I saw the trailer for this was Stephen King's The Langoliers.

:D Have you got a wallchart of my movements?

You do know it hasn't been on yet, right? Or do you mean Who in general? Either way 'you crazy, blood'.

A wide winged flying creature based on a manta with lots of teeth.

Cmon Stott it may be a shit version but it's certainly similar.

Hoorah for finding special effects actually worse than those used by Who.

Why did anyway make a film of such a bloody stupid story in the first place?

And I'm a number1 Stephen King fan

Well, the Who ones are clearly based on Manta Rays; that alien form Pitch Black is clearly based, when you see a full picture, on Geigers Aliens. To me.

Whos effects, for a British show, are actually excellent. Just look at the 'standard' of other British fantasy shows; Primeval's are f**king awful.

Edited by Aaron.

Seen both and they're both an amalgam of both.
