Abandoned it!
Started reading it to my girlfriend hoping for some positive feedback.
The story has absolutely no educational value and the pig is inciting the others to criminal behavior. Apparently the story gives children the message that stealing is ok and a shit load of other stuff I can't understand that she is criticizing me about. (She's a Child Psychologist).
Is still lecturing me from the kitchen as I am typing and actually believes I'm listening.

Can't they build a vehicle themselves? It could count as an extra character too.

A musical radio play - still....

A children's book about a pig that persuades the farmyard animals to help him steal spare parts from all over the village and repair an old moped he found in the barn. He's planning a great adventure to the big city but they won't let him on the bus.
Half way through and starting to think it's a really crap idea now.

Hmm. I read this real quick "the farmyard animals to help him steal spare parts" I immediately thought of body parts. Like they were making a monster or something. But then I re read it and saw it was a moped. And that it was a children's book. It's funny the things you see when you scan stuff, isn't it?

there's always this fly in the oinkment too...

They could have also called it:

"Hog in the City. Hog in the City, Tonight"

Yes, it's called Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare. To ease yourself away from BSG start playing this online. It is not addictive at all and in no way gives you the same withdrawal symptoms as crack cocaine.

Have you ever managed to get onto the roof on Backlot? I cannot figure out how people do that.

You climb up that little wall next to the building, run and jump into the little balcony bit and then climb up the ladder.

God I played that game too much :(

I saw this done on a YouTube video then tried it myself. I assume we're talking about the building facing the larger construction site building? Once you get up there you can plant a claymore by the ladder then go prone with your sniper rifle. You gat an amazing 360 degree view of ever main bit of the map. The drawback is that once someone spots you either visually or via UAV then their grenade will end your fun.

Greybloke and Chris - do you play on 360 or PS3?

I thought he was talking about Donkey Kong.

hey_nonny, screw educational value or positive messages. Is it a good story? No disrespect to the lady in your life, but the last thing you want to do at this stage is take advice from an ed psych. Does American Psycho have positive messages apart from the wholesome goodness of Huey Lewis and the News? Hello no, but it's got something.

We need that American Psycho for kids. But with farmyard animals.

I just started work on a 15 minute comedy short.
