Writing a script. A crap one, but that's besides the point. I wanted to know, on average, how many pages a script would have for a 30 minute show?
Teeny Weeny question...
Isn't it about a page a minute?
I heard that somewhere, thanks!

Yeah that's the general rule.
All depends how small - or big - you write and the spaces.
Depends on the format. If you use Script Smart's sitcom macro its about 40 seconds per page but a minute per page is about right.
When I read through my scripts it's barely ever a full minute for just one page. I usually end up with around 40-45 pages and then tends to last 30 minutes when read out in real-time.
Agreed, Martin, it does seem like that but when you shoot and edit the script you find that you need setting shots and pauses that we readers don't tend to put in. You'll find that the average when shot creeps up rather than down.
It all depends on your characters, because if you have a hyperactive manic character his dialogue will be read much quicker than that of a depressive, monotone character. You need to act it out in character to decipher its length, allowing time for setting shots and facial expressions, awkward silences etc.
