Once Upon A Time In Peckham - should it happen? Page 3

No.

It'll never come close to the original.

The BBC is yet to commision it, but Nicholas Lyndhurst wants to play Freddy Robdol. Check this:

Goodnight Sweetheart, which was bollocks.

Pfft.

What's the point? We learnt in the very last episode that Freddy The Frog was a prick - if the series is based around him he wouldn't exactly be 'our hero' would he?

I thought Del Boy and Rodney had different fathers?

Yeah, we met Del's dad in Series 3

It simply shouldn't happen, I personally was against The Green Green Grass going ahead as well but I gave it a chance and look where we are now...!!!

I personally think it's a disaster waiting to happen, let Only Fools live in peace and let us only be reminded of it by its constant repeats on G.O.L.D....!!

Oh I do love a lazy hungover Sunday afternoon non stop Only Fools. Laughing out loud

With a good BBC One sitcom.

Errr Errr Errr Perhaps we were watching different shows?

Maybe we were.

I'm in shock.

I change my opinion on this all the time. At the moment I don't think this would be a good idea as a TV show, but maybe a book would work.

You must not be aware of Aaron's taste in comedy then.

I see no point in this. Sullivan should just let it go.

Sullivan should just let it go.

Yeah I kind of agree with this. He should do something totally new.

When I first heard about this idea it was from my brother who told me it would be about Del and Rodney's KIDS! So I was quite relieved when I saw this.

To be honest, I wouldn't mind it. I'm not a HUGE Only Fools fan, which I'm sure goes against my English heritage, but if it stops them dragging out Christmas specials then I'm all for it (not that they've done them in a while.)

Del and Rodney have different fathers, don't they? Well, straight away you've got Lyndhurst playing Freddy...get Del to play the other dad maybe, or a character in the show that is hinted at being the other man in their mum's life.

What would be quite good would be a mum's death bed scene, where we actually find out what she said to Del in her dying moments and put it to rest once and for all!

That would be like seeing Mrs Mainwaring!

Yeah we don't need to know what was said because it would ruin the many moments in OFAH where Del uses it to his advantage.
