British Comedy Guide

What are you writing?

I have just finished penning a press release. The first time I have done one of those for a very, very long time. Ah to be back in marketing!

:)

Just started actually writing a new sitcom pilot script this morning. I've been plotting and planning it for a few of weeks. And obviously, after literally a couple of hours hard slog, I'm rewarding myself with some internet. Well done me.

Trying to work on three different sitcoms. Instead I'm looking at this bloody place.

I'm writing the final draft of a short film with a deadline of Friday, but I can't get into it at the moment.

This forum is becoming slowly addictive, Im trying to work on a radio sketch and can't focus...

Is there a focus group of some kind to help kick the habit of BSG??

Errr

It's quicker to get banned. See Frostyboy for further details.

Why what did he do??

He was just a twat... Although now I come to think of it, I'm not sure if he was banned.

You're like one of these serial killers that secretly wants to get caught by the police. :)

Yes, it's called Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare. To ease yourself away from BSG start playing this online. It is not addictive at all and in no way gives you the same withdrawal symptoms as crack cocaine.

Def.

website copy for a small telecoms company.

Wish I wasn't.

I'm having a go at a children's fantasy novel. I'd love to write a film, but I'm hoping a book is a much more realistic route to go. And good practice too!

Currently have written one paragraph with the internet turned off and as maybe obvious, I've just turned it back on, let's see how far I get now! Errr

Hope peeps on here will be willing to offer critique, 'cos this is the first time since I was a kid myself, I've written anything like this.

:)

Scallywagga 2 and a thing for a new David Armand new project

A children's book about a pig that persuades the farmyard animals to help him steal spare parts from all over the village and repair an old moped he found in the barn. He's planning a great adventure to the big city but they won't let him on the bus.
Half way through and starting to think it's a really crap idea now.

Sounds quite good, with plenty of room for humour. Farmyard animals must sell, my mate has loads of DVDs featuring them under his bed.
