Nothing scientific, but I calculate that there are 6,475 better bands. On my street.

The inclusion of "47" does help, but Arcade Fiiiiire! If they were unimpressive, why did you see them more than once?

Festivals. I've also ignored Radiohead a few times, Coldplay and Bloc Party, among others. I hate festivals, but maybe it's just my age speaking.
Jeeeez. Radiohead in summer and Bloc Party for the second time at the same festival. Oh well, I'll just have to try to enjoy it, despite your judgement.
I saw Radiohead about 14 years ago and I sort of enjoyed them. Bloc Party never did much for me. I prefer one or two great bands in an evening instead of 50 assorted acts. But that doesn't explain why I'm heading to New Orleans for the jazz festival and about 200 bands in 2 weeks.
Pay no attention to me. I'm old.
Blood Diamond on DVD. Too long, but I quite enjoyed it.

But you're happy?
Just ignore me I'm a twat...
Alan Whicker's Journey of a Lifetime. Episodes 1&2 on iPlayer. It's easily the best programme I've seen in ages. Brilliant stuff.
Is anyone else watching All The Small Things? I just watched the second episode on Replay, it's very simple but God I do love it.
Red Dwarfff.
Quote: Matthew Stott @ April 5 2009, 7:57 PM BSTApparently a third film is moving close to being a reality, with some writers of The American Office working on it. Can't say I'm overly optimistic about the idea.
They cannot be talking about the same cast...?
Quote: Nil Putters @ April 5 2009, 8:58 PM BSTWhat's the 0.5 bit then?
Weird way of numbering. I much prefer S01E05.
Quote: Seefacts @ April 5 2009, 9:00 PM BSTBut even the iffy ones have a charm about them.
Yes.
Quote: Curt @ April 5 2009, 9:34 PM BSTGhostbusters is one of my all time favourite movies.
Did you guys here about the reboot? The full cast is on board + the writers of the Office are working on a script.
It will either destroy another piece of my childhood like Star Wars and Indiana Jones reboots or it will energize my inner child like David Tennant's Doctor has done.
Ah, I see.
('Reboot'? Not heard that term for it before.)

No, that's common sense.

Only just managed to sit through episode one.
Is the female hologram hot in Red Drawf...Oh yes
I can't stop thinking in a Russian accent now.

Because you fancy her?
Yes Gav. That's exactly why.
