What I really didn't like was the mention of him being half human. Boooo I'm so glad they never mention it in the new series.

Yeah, that half human thing is arse gravy that has since been over looked! The TV movie was fun if you ignore the story! And McGann was really good in the role, pity it was his only on screen performance.

Yeah, it's sort of been intimated that the 'Time War' thing, which we never saw, was what put an end to McGanns persona and made him regenerate into Ecclestone.

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I see now. Well that's kinda cool. They should make a movie of it with the current awesome writers of the show and bring back McGanns for it. That would be awesome!!!!

OH yes! I forgot to mention that I picked up the Grant Morrison Doctor Who comics. They are definitely worth a read for Who fans. I really liked his explanation behind the cybermen. Good stuff indeed! If Doctor Who comics could be written with this much care on a regular basis I think it may rival the show in quality story telling. They reminded me of some of my favourite early Hellboy issues.

"Despite previous reports suggesting otherwise, the second of this year's Doctor Who specials is to be broadcast in "November(ish)." This rather vague timeframe was announced today by Russell T Davies on the BBC One show, Breakfast.

The showrunner also revealed that Bernard Cribbins will play the companion to the Doctor in David Tennant's finale as the Time Lord whllst adding that the first of this year's specials, Planet of the Dead, is now finished - having being completed at 11.30pm, the previous night.

UK television listings magazine, Total TV Guide, is stating that the second special is called The Waters of Mars. Whether or not it broadcasts during November itself is up for debate with Davies' addition of "ish" to the month, suggesting that a Halloween Doctor Who episode may still be a possibility.

Planet of the Dead screens on Saturday, 11th April on BBC One at 6.45pm with a simulcast on BBC HD."

I'm not certain, but I think apart from the new series episodes, he only featured in the second sixties flick, Daleks Invasion Of Earth; I'm not sure if he appeared in the series itself.

Agreed. I've only just watched the Sontaran episodes and was quite choked up when Donna left him behind again.
