It was online at the website, but obviously the copyright remains with the production company so they only have a limited time to broadcast (or something)

Was reading the In The Loop article in yesterday's Sunday Times 'Culture' section and the following was printed:

"There will be yet another minister roasting on a spit when The Thick of It returns in the autumn."

which is *the* most excited I have become by a sentence this year!

Great news if it is coming back.

Oh wow.
Very happy about that!

A new TV series? The Film? And a Stewart Lee TV series? All in the same year? Niiiiiice!

Incidentally, I have just realised what I wrote, and I wish to make it clear I am excited by the prospect of a new series of The Thick of It, not the prospect of another minister roasting on a spit.

Ha. You sicko.

http://twitter.com/AIannucci Up early to work on Thick of It scripts. Oh yes. There will be eight of them.

That's a pretty big step up from two 3 episode series, hmm.

Hmmm. I was planning on purchasing the TTOI Specials DVD due out later this spring, but considering it won't have In the Loop and that they're making new episodes I'm beginning to think that a future box set release (which would presumably include In the Loop) is now more likely than not.

You'd rather have less?

I wish I could watch this show, as the little bits I have I've really enjoyed, but the jittery camera just starts making me feel sick after about ten minutes. Sick

Do you get travel sick in lifts too? :)

:D Thought it was just me. Though having such a good sense of balance does make skating easier...

Not sure that it is. I think comprehensive box set releases tend to be reserved for popular comedies like Dad's Army or Only Fools and Horses. Also, if you wait, then who's to say they won't keep dribbling out specials and new series for years to come.
