British Comedy Guide

Hello Everyone

Hi to all here.

I'm not a writer or anything, basically just a young, inconsistent humour blogger (attracted interest from book publishers but also struggle to maintain a regular readership if that makes sense) who's trying to get into a different medium. due to my current location and sense of humour, I don't think I can do standup so am currently reading scripts and such to see what that might be like.

My favourite British comedy would include ones involving:
The whole Iannucci/Morris/Lee/etc clan,
Paul Whitehouse, Chris Langham, John Cleese, Sean Lock, Renwick, Rowan Atkinson, Harry Hill, Daniel Kitson, Dave Allen.... I'm just listing stuff so I'll stop.

From America I'm particularly fond of Garry Shandling, Woody Allen, Bill Cosby and Chris Rock.

Welcome Sardines.

Sounds like you are a writer really. :)

I agree with your comedy choices so I look forward to hearing from you on the site.

I've not been here that long but I've already noticed a few people on here from your neck of the woods. There might be more opportunities than you think.

Jx

Here Sardines, what about ye!

Hello and welcome.

Hello.

Some of my best friends are fish.

Hello & Welcome
It's getting a bit cramped in here now.

oh sorry, thought this was a sort of formal thing people should do when registering so they don't get groups with the bots

Hello hello hello! :)

Welcome to the site.................!!!!

Hello, Sardines!

Despite the ridiculous name, I think it's the least-crap one I've ever came up with.

Thanks for taking the time to say hello.

Could anyone tell me if any BBCode or HTML works here?

Also, I'm aiming to write a script before my exams start. It's just gonna be a ton of ideas thrown into a pot to test out a load of styles.
