Awful news. What have I got to look forward to now? (In TV comedy terms, not my life in general...). It's an absolute travesty. The world's gone mad as have the BBC controllers.

Well the Radio Times have printed my letter (albeit heavily edited/amended!)
There's a response in there from a 'BBC Spokesperson' that says:
"We appreciate that NGO has a loyal fanbase and that the decision will be a disappointment. However we felt that the programme had runs its course and of late had not performed as well as hoped"
