You could always use one of those internet deathclocks.
Aparently if I don't cheer up I may not have long left.
Say something cheerful, now, damn it!

All politicians will die one day. Good enough?
I'd rather not know when I'm supposed to be going. What if you were told 50, and you went berserk at 49 spending all your money and doing drugs? And they'd got it wrong?
Friend of mine had breast cancer at 33 for no apparent reason- no family history at all, no lifestyle issues either. Sometimes its just not your day.
Quote: Loopey @ April 5 2009, 1:56 PM BSTYou are probably right. I see a lot of dishy male nurses on my travels. Do come and show me how to do that walking thing sometime won't you?
Its not all its cracked up to be to be honest. I spend as much time as possible lying down.

And you're in the legal profession? Talk about under-selling.
Hi Loops. Will be on msn this evening, if you're around.
Egad! The death clock says I got until 2065!

Not *very* sophisticated is it?
I just tried that- set it to 'pessimistic' and it said I will pop my clogs at 48- then changed it to 'optimistic' and it said 92! Thats me f**ked then.
Same here, hmm if I try and upset you would it count as murder?
Quote: Loopey @ April 5 2009, 2:11 PM BSTI'm very sorry to hear about your Dad. I understand what you are saying - he would make the same choice because he wouldn't know any different, but would it have changed anything?
Two people I know had heart attacks this week – one lived and one died. They both led similar lifestyles and were reasonably healthy. I know people who have cancer who have always lead a healthy lifestyle and others who have not. Is our path already mapped out? Can we really make a difference through choice? Is making the best of what you have now better than believing you could have made a difference in the past?
I wish your Dad well.
Cheers Loopey.
I believe the answer to your closing question is yes.

Woo hoo! Here 'till I'm 92
I'm going to die on Saturday, July 20th, 2047.
When I'm 58. Not the greatest of innings. And rather helpfully it says I have 1,208,166,990 seconds left and counting. I shouldn't waste any more of them on omegle.com I think.

You know, in my professional opinion, YES that could. It would be a new slant on the current law; I could now use a lot of latin phraseology and lob in a few examples of precedent.
But I won't. It would weary you.
Sunday 24th July 2021. Wahey! Result. Nearly all my family die in February. In your face death!

What are you eating, the oil from chip shop fryers?
One of my life defining moments, was going travelling. It opened up so many new chapters to my life. That is all.

Hippy.
Revised death date is Sunday July 12th 2012. I'll be 49. This having got the original calculation wrong. At this rate tomorrow seems an optimistic target. Will you miss me?
Could we do your funeral as BSG meetup Wales?
