Probably. But surely everyone can relate to pub chips being hotter than hell on a particularly hot day?
Not if you leave them to cool down for a bit. (Or smother in cool sauce of some variety.)

It annoys me that we have to eat off plates, give me a fork and a chair in front of the deep fat fryer and I'll be happy.

Just got back from a trip to Fredericksburg in the Hill Country. Ate at a German restaurant, drank some beer, looked at antiques and Admiral Nimitz's birthplace and then took a scenic drive back home. The ranchers in the area raise some strange critters: llamas, alpacas, buffalo, camels, zebras ...
