I was went to the Dutch deli today and while in a lineup a woman stared at me and asked "are you Dutch".
I said "My father is from the Netherlands, but I was born here in Canada".
She said "You look very Dutch" and tapped her nose twice. As if my nose 'gave me away' or something.
I thought it was funny, especially since she looked so serious about the situation.
I'm not often given to laughing out loud, but this ad always cures my dour morosity and did make me laugh today (apologies for repeat appearance):

You know everytime you saw the dog's arm moving stuff it was actually a preserved dead dogs arm.
I love films about dogs forced to reenact films about rape. It some how splendidly sordid.
