I keep myself fit through a diet of constant stress and nervousness.

Fit to drop?

I think that keeps me thin, but by no means fit.
And congrats Curt! Sure the lucky lady'll whip you into shape soon enough
I'm a poor football player, but at least at school and uni when had a kickabout every day/week could run for a bit. As my final year progressed stopped doing this and a couple of weeks ago had a first game for about a year where I was spent after a couple of mins - then got cramp in both calves - OW! Embarrassing.
So exercise recently has been lots of stretches as had the tightest calves & hamstrings known to man. Is much better now.
Been meaning to start running, but hate it. Should get a new bike. Much prefer exercise through sports but don't have many friends decent at badminton which is my preferred means.

Nah, they balance off each other.
Quote: random @ April 5 2009, 8:00 PM BSTAre you fit? Or should I say, do you do regular exercise?
No.
I used to do weights and cardio years ago and was pretty muscular and fit. Now too much booze and being sat in front of a pc all day has taken its toll.
However, I've just embarked on a fitness kick (I've actually started using my gym membership again) and am looking forward to the day that I can fit back my into 34 inch jeans, hopefully before summmer fully descends. (Currently 36 inch waist - fat bastard!)
I'm not. Sadly. I can run for a bit but depends who's chasing me and why.

I run 2-3 times a week for about 4 miles... and lots of sexercise.
I cycle 4 miles-ish every day since I sold my car so I suppose I *may* be fit, and am currently off booze too. So I am fit and bored out of my tiny mind. I have bona lallies- thews like an oak...
32" waist, 42" chest- I think I'm doing ok
Yep, sounds mighty fine to me!
*blush*

Is a 36 inch waist really all that big? I'm a 33 and no-one gives me shit about being fat. I'd say you're proportionately correct anyway, Lee. Like a partially shaved bear.

You say the loveliest things Mr Bussell.
Nah - 34 inch is about right for me - it has an overall reduction on that whole nightclub bouncer look and makes a huge difference to my big fat hamster cheeks. there was a time when I actually had cheekbones and a discernible jawline. Those days shall return, I'm determined! Also I look taller with less weight. People are always surprised to learn I'm actually 5 foot 11. I think when you're bigger it makes you look shorter.
I heard someone mention 5 foot 2
